Default Help ? about tune

I'm going to do a install TR224 114 lsa/ls6 intake/pacesetter LT w/ory and the closest place for me to get a tune is a 1.5 hr city/hwy drive away at rapid ms.

IF it wasn't a damn 98 i'd gett a crane cam w/ the crane tuner

Now the question. can i drive that far w/o a tune and not do any damage or should i invest in a hp tuner or something similar and possibly put myself in another predicament ? im not a computer illitterit idiot, I mean everybody's gotta start somewhere, right?

I like having the software, but Mikey does an excellent job so he is worth the drive. No, you won't damage anything on the drive over.

It may take an hour or two for your car to adjust to that cam. But, it should hold up fine given it's on a 114lsa and you're driving an M6. It'll run...just not as good as if it were tuned.

you should be fine...it'll probably be a little lopey and ya might stall a couple of times depending on how close the grind is to the specs but you should be fine for the most part

you know vinci/crane does have tuners for the 97-98 now. if that's what was holding you back, was them not having one, it's out now.
