Wire splice connectors..

Whats the best type of wire splicing connectors to get? I want something that can be permanent and is reliable.

Yeah, solder and heat-shrink tubing is dead
reliable. If I use a crimp connector (like spade
or Molex or MetriPak) I solder it too, for luck
and corrosion.

In high vibration environments a soldered crimp connection can cause the wire to fail at the joint.

With proper care and tools, crimping a weatherpack or metripack connector is normally good enough. Connectors are available from waytekwire.com.

I usually solder and heatshrink but how would you do that when your soldering a wire to the throttlebody harness where you can't get the heat shrink over the connector?
