Was cruising around 40mph and went to pick up speed and when the tranny kicked down it acted like it was in neutral, well as soon as I heard the engine race I got off the gas but I did see the tach get up around 6k rpm. When the tranny went into gear the engine started sputtering. Well got it home and hooked up the HP Tuners scanner and it was giving random misfires and it was reducing the left bank fuel trims by 18% while the right bank was fine at 0-1%. Popped the hood and could hear what sounded like whooshing air coming from the back of the block. I don't know if the torque converter let go and I'm hearing the fluid or what also I just don't understand the fuel issue. Don't know if the transmission taking a dump would cause a fueling/misfire problem. It was running like a champ till now.
