Default Torque Management.

Does anybody know how much of a difference in performance it will be if I tune out/reduce the torque management on my LS2 2005 6-speed GTO? Let's say in the quarter mile... How many tenths might potentially be gained if the TM is eliminated.

Maybe one tenth. Not really worth it if you ask me considering how weak the 4L60E is. Some people will say they've removed it for over a year without a problem. But I say, talk to the truck owners and those who have heavier vehicles. You most likely won't get the same response.

I'm not sure but TM is programmed in A4 cars only to protect the venerable slush box (4l60e).
