Quick question about front 02 sensors..

Default Quick question about front 02 sensors..

ok im fixin to install a lc1 wideband in my car and i had a question..i want to put my sensor in the header collector in place of either one of the 02 sensors, and then just delete the code for that particular 02 sensor so i dont get an ses code..will this work? thanks!

i would advice against that... if you're going to do that use your LC1 to emulate narrowband....

The front O2s are needed to keep the car running at stoich (emissions and gas mileage) ... if you just disable the code you are disabling the learn factor for 1 side of the engine....

Where should you locate an LC-1 then on say an 05' GTO with stock exhaust?

Replace one of the front O2 sensors with the LC-1 WB02.

cant he just disable the heater circuit thereby still allowing the engine to take AFR from the bank?

If you're askin can he wire his LC-1 to output as a narrowband, and disable the heater code, then I believe that is correct.
