Has anyone ever get a tune out of one of those? Curious to see what gm did not to have a maf.

It's worth quite a few horses w/out a MAF. We tune them out all the time. All you need to do is set the codes to not set off the light and do a good speed density tune. If you look at some of the Aussie/Holden sites you can see the gains their tuners get on stock vehicles. I think it is generally 10+%...I don't remember off the top of my head.

Really, 10% I'm surprised it is so much, that's nearly 40 hp. Anyone else can confirm that ? I know there are several guys on here running MAFless.

the Aussies have some crazy wild stuff. One thing that SD has over a MAF is that a MAF is usually out of wack and hard to readjust.

oh yah, and sometimes they have bad checksums on purpose, so you have to fix that too before you could read it in an editor.
