enable by MAP ....minimum map required to Arm PE mode and make ready for use
hystesis... how far below teh enable map it must fall before it turns its self off and un arms PE mode
enabel delay RPM...even if its armed and all other criteria are met...weit till this RPM minimum to use
which is why you set it to 0...so its used exclusively by the TPS vs RPM table
and I just noticed as well it only appeard that certain OS's have the enrichment rate modifier.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I've been looking into PE a little further. It looks like pre 01-02s do not have a built in enable rate for PE. Its all or nothing from what I can see. On my stock bin (99), I show 15kPa PE enable and 6kPa for the hysteresis. 15kPa may just as well be immediate for all throttle angles, as I normally see >30kPa at idle and above. The only time I get a dip is during rapid throttle closure. Also the stock setting on my car for PE delay rpm was already 0, I didn't have to change it. Sorry for going off topic.

And to think the 2002 Stock Z06 tune has the enable rpm at 5500!!! I dont understand why GM would do that. That means they are running 14.6afr if I floored it on the dyno (stock) until I hit 5500rpm?

Speaking of that, what AFR should I be tuning for idle/part throttle/high RPM ?
I know WOT I want to stay safely in the low 11's for boost, but what about idle, and 2-4k rpm ranges ? Is the table I posted above looking OK ? I may even richen it up a little more in the 4k range ?
0-2400 RPM = 1.0 (stoich)
2800-3600 RPM = 1.1 (13.29 AFR)
4000-4400 RPM = 1.2 (12.1 AFR)
4800-5600 RPM = 1.25 (11.70 AFR)
6000-7200 RPM = 1.3 (11.25 AFR)

Part throtte will always be 14.63
unless you are above the power enrich tps vs rpm table...
or unless you are running a 1 bar sd from hptuners and cou van specify by tps and rpm in a more detailed manner
in which case it uses he higher value(lower afr) of PE or OLFA

This is alot of good info guys. I have a question, right now other than my exhaust my 02 WS6 is stock. Should I set my PE rate to 4.0 too? What is the benefit of tuning SD if the car is never in it, only goes in if maf sensor fails right? And you say the car is always about 14.7AFR but how could you tune it go get the AFR you want? Like during some hefty stop light to stop light driving? Thanks alot guys.

the VE is used at any part throttle non "steady state" condition..
this steady state is defined in the PCM on teh dynamic airflow pages in HP tuners
if you dont tune the VE on a V8(v6's dont ue ve unless maf fails...period)
then part throttle will cause trimming....
when tuning the MAF you will be doing nothing for part throttle..and it will result in a really messed up MAF curve and it wil never be right
and basically the VE is used only under 4000rpm..after 4000 rpm it switched to MAF only

Ok so the VE alters the fuel trims I think I have that part. So the VE is used on part throttle, so the PCM alters the AFR only on non-steady state? Not the only time the computer will alter the fuel to diff than 14.7 is when PE kicks in right? So with the MAF connected thats the only way I can get the AFR that I want?
