Default Is Reprogramming needed for a CAM only install?

I know that with heads and CAM it is (well it helps) but what about a CAM only (HotCam with springs) with upgrade SVO 30lb/hr injectors? He also has headers on it as well.

thanks.

I did not note if your A4 or M6 but you wont
need reprogrammed BUT you may have to tinker
with it a bit. Some have drilled throttle blade
hole out a bit some have done that and added
shim's to the idle stop screw..all of this
because of the hotcam LSA 112 is kinda lopey..
rumpty..rumpty..rumpty at idle.

Cam only...why upgrade the injectors? Unless after the cam he is maxxing out the injectors (unlikely) I would not switch. It introduces a new variable to the equation, although a MAFT can be used to compensate for it. If you add the injectors and have an A4, I would suggest programming to ensure proper lock-up etc.

IT's a M6, He has Headers, we're installing a CAM. He also has Nitrous. And with that 100 shot along with the CAM and headers I would think he's close to maxing out the stock injectors.

Hey, this sounds like my car. I have the stock injectors that came on the car. I very seldomly use the nitrous(one bottle all last summer). I have an MAFT and AUTOTAP to monitor everything. Check out my sig. for mods.

I still have stock programming...

Hpp3 is the only thing I have...just for the rev limiter basically...
