Default Benifits of MAFT on slightly modified SS??

I am thinking I want my car tuned to the top of its game, it isnt heavily modified but will tuning with the MAFT prove to be worthwhile? TIA

Well, the only way to see if you really need it would be to AutoTap your car. If your mixture insn't quite right, then the MAFT can help. If you get the MAFT, then you'll still need AutoTap to get it set up properly. Do you hear any pinging? Sometimes the mixture gets too lean with induction mod's.

I dont hear any pinging, i was just wondering if the car was properly tuned out if it might get another 5-10 hp, im sure it doesn't run perfect, but i dont really have access to autotap right now, would a scanmaster do the job???

If you have the SLP 85mm MAF or other makers MAF, then you most likely will need a MAFT.

If your looking for a really good next mod, then go with the ASP Pulleys.

If you don't have a MAF, then save a lot of headaches when you do get one and get bot the MAF and MAFT at the same time.

In my case it did!!! I took it to get dyno'd to see how much power I was losing. I dyno'd 337 RWHP 342 RWTQ 1st, 338 RWHP 343 RWTQ 2nd with 0 adjustment. The peak was at 5300 rpm's and runs flat to rev limiter but between 5600 and 5800 rpm's it dropped to 290 RWHP 265 RWTQ then back up to the previous numbers from 5900 rpm's to rev limiter. I added 2% fuel to WOT on third run. Power went up to 344 RWHP 350 RWTQ but dropped like the previous runs to 295 RWHP 275 RWTQ then back up to the previous numbers But as you can see I gained 6 RWHP peak and the HP and TQ bands gained from 2200- rev limiter. Iwish I knew how to fix my problem. Sorry for being so long and I hope this gives you some insight!!!!
