Any DEMO or instruction book on LS1 Edit?
Curious about the interface and such. Also if I could get an instruction booklet or something to see the things you can do it would be great. Is there any demo of the program like Autotap has?

Yes, there is documentation included, and it is much better than the LT1_Edit documentation.
FWIW, that link to LT1.net - I wrote that in December of '99. It's very old and outdated. And honestly, LS1_Edit is different enough to warrant ignoring that link. I've been using LT1_Edit since before it was called LT1_Edit, and LS1_Edit is most certainly different - both in user interface and in terminology. It's taking me some getting used to.
The documentation explains what all of the fields and tables mean, and some have tips on how to use them.
I'm going to ask if I can post the documentation.

yea i wouldn't mind seeing a copy of the manual. After reading it, and making sense of it, i would be more confident in purchasing it. Plus i would already know how to use it! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Seems your not aware that copying copyrighted documents is illegal and if the vendor wanted it printed to the world it would be on their website to download. :-(

I fail to see why they would not want to spread information on their product leading to additional sales. As an informed consumer I desire to learn as much as possible about a product before purchasing it. Does this "mystery" manual really contain such proprietary information as to warrant a copyright?
It would probably be a good idea to get an okay from Ken or Dave before providing this for download - since it hasn't been offered up before there might be a reason behind that.
Whatever your feeling are on it, it is their property and should be their call as to it's distribution... why not just send them an email and ask if they mind?

For one thing the product is in BETA testing and there is all kinds of reasons a vendor does not want it sent to the world since BETA process is not the final content, can change and then people who read the BETA end up confused with what they still think is in the documents they read when they are no longer valid.
Also those signed up as BETA testers agree not to release content unless written permission by the owners of the product.
I can also see someone who has been bad mouthing this pre-released product because they are buddies with high dollar tuners who want a copy of this product before it is released so they can pass rumors about the product.
Thus as anything in a engineering state,
paper shreaders and locked trash cans are normal and copying BETA documents are a NoNo.
