Stock PCM limits?
Anyone know for sure just how far RPM wise the stock PCM has fuel/spark tables for? I've been hearing 7500rpm, but I not 100% sure on that. It's mostly just a curiosity thing, but I do wonder how high an LS1 can rev without going with an aftermarket PCM (Motec, Holley, etc.)...

the shift points are based soley off of MPH, so, you could setht the shift points at any MPH you want. For example, my 1-2 shift at WOT is currently at 34 mph (I think) and for me that equates to approximatly 6400 rpm. The 2-3 shift is set for 66 mph, approx. 6300 rpm.

Wow...They give you some room to rev eh?
OBD1 LT1 tables go to like 7
And OBD2 goes to like 7200.
I hear they just keep using the values in the last table up to 7500...but that is also where the PCM stops being able to keep up. It cant sample/send signals any faster.
