Default What gains from LS1-Edit?

Well mods are listed in sig....what could I possibly gain with reprogramming? My best is a 12.7 @ 111 pass with mods listed below including Hypertech and excluding the FTRA on the stock 245 tires. So now I will have 275's, better programming, and FTRA. Assuming good track conditions, possible 12.3's or 12.4's?

LS1 Edit is still in it's infancy, it's probably a little too soon to predict what gains could be had given what bolt ons you plan to do. After a little more R&D is done you maybe able to more accurately predict results based on other memebers' experiences.

Before you do any tuning with LS1Edit, you should have the means to monitor your engine functions, such as, the front O2 sensors, KR, total timing, engine rpm, MAF flow, etc.

It is very likely that with your current mods, the MAFT is all you need for tuning.

But why get a MAFT when it costs like $170 and I am in on this at $325 and it will be used for the heads, cam, and headers later? And won't I be able to program for higher octane gas? Like 100?

[quote]Soon to come...TNT N2O, LT headers, heads, cam, LS6 intake, MAF, MAF translator, cage, and of coarse lots more...but first a house with a shop!

IMO, you should get some other mods before LS1Edit. You'll enjoy that $550 alot more if spent on a Cam.
