Default OBD II code readers

Anyone know of a good code reader that is nice to have around. I know of several, which is best?

If your talking about AutoTap, that is on of the more common ones used.

Tell you what I'm gonna move this to the computer section to see if we can get more on this. If it gets some info, I'll move it back so we can see it.

Since recent delivery of our 02 TA, I sought out and purchased my scan software from Ease Diagnostic.
I have no other experience with OBDII scan soft.
but had used several on my 96Z [obd1 converted].
Although I read on these boards that AutoTap seems
to be most popular, I think I bought the right one.....runs fine on XP or W2K and my iPAQ...but,
certainly the most expensive one <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

I use the Auterraweb software that lets you use your Palm PDA as an autotap-type device. I can check and reset codes and check engine parameters like LTrims, STrims, O2's, KR, total timing, etc.
