Is my laptop to weak for LS1 Edit?

Is my laptop to weak for LS1 Edit? My laptop I use for atap is a Pentium 100. A Pentium 133 is the minimum recommended for LS1 Edit. Am I screwed out of another few hundred $$ or is there a chance it will work?
