Default LS1 Edit or Ed Wright? Any comparisons?

I was just wondering if someone had Ed Wright and switched to LS1 Edit and gained? Just programming. If you changed something else during the change it messes up results..

I imagine Ed's LS1 business took a little hit when this LS1-EDIT software came out. Why pay someone $500 for tuning when you can buy the software yourself for that much?

Come on Vince, buy the software and do some trial and error testing, you could be a PIONEER!

Plus, it would be a hell of a lot more fun that mailorder Ed Wrong tuning.

Nineball, do you have LS1Edit? I have a MMS 388 all-bore motor coming in about a week and since you have a similar setup I wanted to exchange notes.

Just curious, what does your car weigh?

I'm sure Ed Wright will be the best choice for all but the die-hard hackers who want to play, play, play.

I want to play, play, play.

I would pay for Ed's (or another's) programming, but I want to be able to fine-tune, too. If I can't have both, well... being a techno do-it-yourselfer, guess which route I'll go?

Tony you are right.. I should go ahead and get LS1 Edit. Pay a one time fee and never have to send the pcm back for upgrades at a $200 buck upgrade price.. I will purchase ls1 edit just for that reason alone.. I will let others finish playing with it and get their notes so I can be right on que..
