Default LS1 Edit for trucks

Does anyone know any shops in Houston who has LS1 Edit for trucks yet? Will this be able to remove torque managment or do I have to go with someone like Superchips.

Not that I have LS1-Edit for trucks... but Torque Management removal is simply setting the Max Torque value higher than stock (actually, higher than what your REAL maximum torque is).

Stock for the F-body is 350. Someone suggested it be set 100 above what your measured RWTQ is to never allow the Torque Management Tables to ever kick in.

It is one of the simplest values to change.

Hope that helps.

So LS1 Edit will remove it ? Now all I have to do is find someone that has it for trucks.
Thanks

I may be interested, can you tell me how that would work out ? How much? If i wanted out, can you go back to stock and sell the vin spot out again or once it's in it's done, kinda HPPIII style. I may see if I can do that down here in the Houston area if it is cost effective.

Hey Greg, I ordered the personal version with 3 PCMs. I asked carputing, and no one anywhere close has the truck add-on. It was suppeded to ship this week. I should be able to tell you the results next week on my findings.

Currently, I am going to use one VIN, Bryan (really slow truck)is buying in and will use the second VIN, and I have the intent to sell the tuning to someone for the 3rd VIN. I am in Dallas. Let me know if you are interested in being the 3rd VIN on my cable.

I sold my hypertech on ebay for $250 last week. I bought it used 2 years ago for $250

Hey Greg. Once its done, its done - for the VIN on the cable. You can do anything to your PCM, and put it back to stock. I know it would be a pain getting this worked out with you in Houston.

Email me - Lets talk over a few things.
