"Big cam idle"
Does anyone have any input into cleaning up "big cam" idle? Idle speed is obvious but what about spark and fuel? I know "bigger" cams can idle well. There's got to be a better way than raising the idle speed. ****, I could do that with a carb. What about with EFI? More advance should smooth it out, right? What about A/F mixture? Lean towards the rich side?? Even if you're not sure, let's hear you're experiences...

Re: "Big cam idle"
I would lean toward the lean side at idle, if you think about it, installing a big cam usualy requires a TB plate drilling, which would effectively lean the mix at idle...
I would try using Atap to check the MAP readings, and try to get the highest vacume you can.
probalby advance the spark a couple of degrees, although Im not sure wehre idle advance sits...
