LS1 Edit 101 question

LS1 Edit 101 question My PCM had Ed Wright tuning, followed by a few LS1 Edit changes for injectors, shift points, etc.
I should be able to buy LS1 Edit, and go from there, leaving the existing programming in, just modifying it, right? No need to start over?

Re: LS1 Edit 101 question JS - Julio did a great job tuning my car. That's EXACTLY why I'm interested in keeping his program and going from there. The changes I'm thinking about are more for shift points, etc. Turns out my tranny had some serious problems (Julio told me it was slipping) and my pcm will require some adjustments to account for a properly working tranny again.

My buddy built me a GREAT BOX FOR ALOT LESS THAN A FLP.Has all the same stuff they use and LS1 Speed uses.I did alot of research find out what exactly has to be done to these boxes and my new (JG Trans) is working flawlessly.
Look him up in the Yellow pages Dave.
He 's very honest and really knows the 4L60E well,Only other trans I would consider is a FLP.

Re: LS1 Edit 101 question Hard to say your tranny works great when it has no runs on it.
My FLP has like 50 passes on it, and 12 dyno pulls... Still crisp as ever with my 480-500 ft lbs of tq...

Re: LS1 Edit 101 question Trannies can be tough to diagnose. The only reason I thought my tranny was slipping was due to where Julio had to put the shift points to prevent it from banging the limiter. On the street, especially with a high stall converter, I couldn't tell anything was wrong. Turns out it was more seriously damaged than anyone thought.
