I'm looking at the power enrichment menu and it has MAP to enable. Is the MAP pressure generally gonna be the same as what my vacuum/boost gauge shows? While running down the road im generally around 18" of vacuum. My "map to enable" setting is 15. Should I change this to something closer to 5? I'm thinking that it is going into Power enrichment mode with just a stab at the throttle to pass folks on the highway. I bet i got this all wrong but thats how we learn <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I would really mess with the PE MAP table - that just basically sets the MAP parameters which have to be met for PE mode to enable.
I believe there is TPS to enable PE mode also - if you want your car to go into PE mode it would be better to adjust this.
Basically PE mode will disable learning (O2 based learning) and set your target a/f ratio to a richer value. You can adjust the target a/f ratio with the power enrichment table itself.
I really wouldn't worry about it too much though - adjust the PE table on a dyno/track itself, but unless you see/feel a specific need I would adjust the table you mentioned.

I agree with Chris, I wouldn't mess with it. 15 kPA is like 25" vacuum Hg - and it would be only one of the things that are required to enter PE. TPS would be the other.
This is just a switch for one of those items like EGR that relies on a couple of different conditions to be met before it's acted upon.
