Wrong way!

If your LFUEL TRIMS are positive, that means that the PCM is adding fuel due to a learned lean condition while cruising around.

Recommendation: set base to 10% rich, then do a PCM reset. You will have to drive the car at least 20 minutes to gather some learned PCM info.
OR dont do the PCM reset and drive the car more than 30 minutes.

You want your LFUEL TRIMS at 0 or a small negative percentage. My car is running at 0 to -3% for LFUEL TRIMS. At WOT, look for 880mV to 900mV and no knock retard and timing advance of 27* to 28*.

You might find that you will need to set the MAFT at 4% rich for the WOT switch.

Does this make any sense??? See, my car was running at 15% to 20% LUEL TRIM. I reduced those values down to 0% or less by setting the MAFT base switch to 20% rich.

I hope this helps,
Doc
