Default TM getting worse? WUWT?

TM actually seems to be getting worse. My car is falling on it's face on the 1-2 shifts and for the first time I'm seeing pulled timing often on the 2-3 shift (down to 0.5*). Converter has been in the car for months, and the TM has never been as bad as it is now. Anyone ever seen TM get worse over time? I have no KR,BTW.
I swear the way it shifts now with the bog/pickup it sounds like I have an M6.
Why so bad all of a sudden?
Car is basically stock with no new changes.

I've seen my timing go as low as -5 on shifts . . . That's why I deleted TM <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I used to see negative timing pre-converter, but hadn't experienced it since the TC install. I don't understand why it's suddenly worse, unless there is something else going on I can't catch on ATAP.

Could the converter be unlocking/locking while the timing is pulled? When it gets through the bog it will snap your head back.
