The flashing ses light is for the emissions it usually means catalitic problems like too rich or lean mine came on in my 2000 ss monte carlo 75 hp dry kit burnt all 6 tips off the plugs. The mustang still don't know what hit him <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Maybe your misfires are causeing too much un burnt fuel in the exhaust o2 sensors pegged and the light comes on. Hope you find the problem and let use know when you do. Good luck Rich

Problem seems to be solved. I had John at Speartech disable misfire detection and all is well. My converter even locks up when it's supposed to.

We made a few passes with AutoTap and my o2's are good and the car runs and idles fantastic. We're going to change the plugs this afternoon just for ***** and giggles but I really think it was the pcm being far too sensitive as to what is really a misfire.

BTW- John at www.speartech.com is an excellent guy to deal with.
