Dash/radio lights go out when I turn on the headlights

Dash/radio lights go out when I turn on the headlights OK my car was fine. Then I had to change the master cylinder to the clutch again. And i changed the shifter to stock one again since I have a problem with the tranny so its going in for warranty work on the tranny since thats under warranty. Well when I was done i take the car for a ride to make sure all is well. I notice that all my dash lights are out even the mileage while i have the headlights on. So i come back and notice that when i turn the lights off the mileage lights up again. I checked the fuse inside the car and changed it and still didn't work. Can anyone tell me what the heck is going on here? Is there a wire that I can trace or something please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The car has to go in tomorrow. I need to fix it quickly. Thank you

Re: Dash/radio lights go out when I turn on the headlights Have you done the fog lamp mod (stay on with high beams ?) if so check to make sure the the wire opposite the fusebox is not grounding out!
