Hi all,
I have been lurking for a while and decided to join & post at the same time.
There has been some discussion on the Corvette forum, but the idea to post here as well was good!
Attached is my graph & #'s sheet from the dyno run on our A4 3.15 17K car.
I am sure it needs plugs, but it sure does run strong for an apparent KR dip.........
Could it have just been poor gas?
Only basic Mods:
BPP BLACK VORTEX RAMMER COLD AIR SYSTEM.
B&B TRI-FLO PRT W/SPEEDWAY TIPS.
POWERLOADER II
I sent an e-mail with this info to Steve Cole, but I do not expect to hear from him anytime soon.
A graph shouldn't lie, track times do not.
Dyno's are all relevent anyway.
I knew the Dyno #'s were a little low based on my track times, but I posted so all my Forum Sisters & Brothers could comment.
The way I drive & it at 17K, it is probably due for plugs anyway.

Thanks for any imput. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

It definitely looks like a possible culprit to me. You may also want to check what smoothing value the dyno operator was using, as this will have a large effect on the graph (1-5, 1 being the least, 5 being the most. 3 is pretty standard).
I would try some race gas in there just to make sure it is false knock that the computer is picking up (and that the powerloader hasn't advanced the timing excessively).
If it's false knock then you can either purchase LS1 Edit, or purchase one of Nineball's knock boxes (or construct your own) to alleviate the problem.
