Default Hesitation and loss of power

Alright i took my car out the other day, and i was driving it and it started to hesitate and ran a little funny. If i pressed the gas it seemed as if it was stuttering like if it was running on 7 cylinders or somthing. When i stoped at a light it seemed to be running a little high like 200 or 300 rpm. When i would get on it or just accelerate it seemed low on power. After driving it for awhile to see if i could find out what was wrong with it, the SES light came on and started blinking. I was close to home so i started back and the SES light would blink then go off for like 2min then start blinking again. I checked to see if any wires or anything was burnt but nothing seemed to be burned

Any clue to what it might be? Thanks

Pull the valve covers and check for a broken valve spring.

Blinking SES = misfires, definately check the springs if you have already had one break and didn't replace the rest. Take a look a the plugs/wires while you're in there too.

If you have a scanner, see if your ltrims are pegged at 25. Bad 02s will cause that to happen. If you have recently used top end cleaner or lead race gas, it can ruin your 02s or at least make them so dirty the don't read correctly. When you get on the gas the hesitation gets worse and you can feel the sputtering in your foot with more throttle.

I assumed that you have already changed all your valve springs since you had one break....

You need to find out why your valve springs are breaking.
