Default Time for some custom tuning.... Help me, I'm lost!!!

Well, looks like I need some tuning to help get me some more gain from my setup. I really don't know anything about this, but I am trying to learn ASAP. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'm not really sure what to ask from, from my tuning, other than a few specific things like:

Remove all tranny functions
Remove EGR & AIR
Remove TCS
Raise idle
Retard timing 8* (for nitrous)

What else should I be asking for? My mod list is as follows:

K&N
HPP3
160 degree thermo
Whisper Lid
GMAF Ends
Nitto 555R's
NOS Custom kit jetted for 200 shot
NOS Programable Controller
ASP Pullys
BG Ram Air Kit
FLP Long Tube Headers w/ ORP
Mufflex 4"/Dual 3.5" exhaust
Pro Yank TH-400 w/ 2.75 first gear and Transbrake
Pro Yank 3800 Extreme converter
Turbo Action Cheetah SCS Shifter
Hurst Roll Control
MMS Ported Throttle Body
SLP LS6 Intake w/ EGR
Baer Eradispeed rotors (slotted & cross-drilled)

Strange 12 bolt rear axle with 33 spline axles, Super Strength Posi, 3.42 gears
HAL 12 way adjustable shocks
HAL front 90/10 springs
AirRide Airbag for Right Rear Spring
BMR Chromoly Lower Control Arms
BMR Chromoly Adjustable Panhard Rod
BMR Chromoly Xtreme Duty Torque Arm
BMR Chromoly STB
BMR Chromoly Boxed Subframe Conncetors

I was thinking of re-gearing the car to 3.73's. Would I have to have the whole thing redone just to change the gears? Oh, and I was thinking of using Ed Wright.... Good? Bad? Can you recommend someone better?

Thanks in advance for the help!!! Maybe soon I can actually go <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" /> for a change <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

If you are really looking for performance tuning, I would find a shop where you can wideband dyno tune on the bottle. They'll also handle the minor stuff like code deletes, etc.

If you are close to Orlando, call Joe Vinci at 407-292-4500. We used him for the Yank Testing program.

Roger never did make it back to the shop, so I suppose I'll get a price today. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
