New to OBD II Ok, so I got ATAP since I now no longer have any OBD I vehicles. Being new to OBD II PCMs, things look a whole lot more complicated than before. Anyone have any suggested reading that will help out my understanding? Is "Corvette fuel injection & electronic engine management" by Probst the best place to start? I understand he covers the LS1? Any of that applicable to my other Chevy's (both 4.3L s-series trucks).

Re: New to OBD II I have the book but admittedly haven't really gotten into it. My impression was that Probst went to great lengths to discourage tampering with the engine. I'd save the cost of the book and spend time reading the posts on this board and LS1.com. Just my $.02.

Re: New to OBD II I have read the book and it is ok for beginners. It goes into more about where sensors are on different model years, but doesn't dive into what you really need to know. Like the last post. Just frequant the web sites.
