Default Any reasoning on why TM would increase..

...over time?
The last couple of months the 1-2 shift sounds like someone pushing in a clutch, giving a quick rev, then kicking me back in the seat as the motor screams that good LS1 sound.
Only change has been to add Borla XR-1 in place of resonator on LM.

-4 timing on shift (normal)
Bank 1 inj pulse width dropping super low during shift (have seen 0.56)
No KR
Lterms, timing advance, O2s good.
Haven't checked plugs but no misfires I've seen and dunno how that would apply anyway.
Any ideas? This is a BIG loss of momentum on 1-2 shift.

Sound like your clutches are slipping in the transmission. I am sure a few other other people will respond.

No, I believe the tranny is doing fine. It's just pulling so much timing and fuel on the 1-2 shift there's an incredible loss of momentum until it picks up and kicks a$$. The 'verter and these "highway" gears just seem to multiply the effect. Dunno why it's worse lately, though. Got about 12K on the plugs. Maybe for S&Grins I'll swap 'em and see how they look along with a fuel filter change.

Does this happen only at WOT shifts or during normal driving shifts? Have you A-tap'd it to see if you are getting KR during the shifts or timing decreasing alot? Just some questions to help find the issue.

No KR. Good old TM pulling timing and fuel on 1-2 shift. All parameters look in line, just getting like a more pronounced TM effect lately. (see first post). Since I don't run DRs right now, really need that 1-2 shift w/o the bog. Unfortunately, can't get custom tuning at this time for TM.
Only occurs at or close to WOT.

This may sound a little silly , but I corrected my problem that was identical to what you have described. Mine appeared mysteriously one day and I don't recall changing anything to cause it , but I'm a tinkerer so who knows. I did the idle relearn procedure which was suggested by a fellow wrench head and Waa-la!... Problem solved. I have corrected it several times since the same way. You have nothing to loose by trying it. Good luck!
