Default tranny dosnīt shift at WOT, PCM related, cannot fix with LS1 edit???

When I did my heads/cam install, I got a new tuned
PCM.

But from the first time on, the tranny didnīt shift at full throttle.

So I put in the stock PCM and the tranny did shift.

I now put the tuned PCM back in and wanted to adjust the WOT shiftrpms with LS1 edit.

But whatever I set them, the car always bangs into the revlimiter at WOT.

I have set them lower than they were set and lower and lower.
Then I set them the same mph as the stock one.
All didnīt work.

The tables seem to be in the PCM, as when I read it again, they show up like I programmed them,
but I can get NO WOT shifts, whatever I do.

Anyone has an idea what that can be.
It must be somehow PCM related as the stock PCM works on the WOT shifts.

Also the shiftrpms look not that bad on the tuned PCM, I would say they are right, but why no WOT shifts??

Can there be something other producing that problem, that I cannot edit with LS1 edit???

Any idea??

Need help on that!!

Thanks,
Michael

Was the pcm you got from the same model year?

Can you copy the new program to the old pcm and run the car that way?

I would have to upgrade the cabling for another PCM, but that seems to be my next step.

Just hate it to live so far away (Austria) and
that will mean weeks of waiting again

If you can, email me a copy of the file that will not shift to chris@slowcar.net and I will take a look at it and see if I can figure out anything strange

IT`S FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KEN at Carputing helped me out!!!!

Seems that the tire and gears were messed on the PCM and I could not
change the shiftpoints via LS1 edit.
At least all changes had NO effect!!!!

KEN sent me a file, modified with the new LS1 version (will be out next week),
and that finally worked.

He set the shiftpoints low, so I had to adjust them to shift little higher (6400 now), but now it works perfect.

Damn, that
car spins tires when shifting from 2-3 on the Autobahn (Love that fast shifting FLP tranny!!!)

Only bad thing is I missed todays race so next chance is May 19th.

I`M HAPPY NOW!!!!

Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
