Are my O2 Sensors or Heaters Bad: Will Autotap tell me? Keep getting diagnostic trouble codes saying my O2 sensors or the sensor heaters are bad. This also sets off the SES light. I have checked and they are plugged in but I really have no way to tell if the sensors or heaters are bad?
How can I tell what the problem is?
I tried running O2 diagnostics in Autotap but am not sure how to get that program to work, advice?

- make sure you do not have any blown fuses - check the eng sense fuse under the hood especially.
- make sure you have no exhaust leaks
- make sure you have no burned o2 wires.
- if your problem is only on one side switch the o2's and see if the problem follows the o2 or stays on the side. If it follows the o2, buy a new o2(s). If it stays with the side look for an exhaust leak or misfire condition. If none check wiring again.
- if both your o2's are dead and you can discern no wiring/fuse issues, buy new o2's.

What is the DTC you get for that? i think i have the same problem that you are talkin about....P0135 and P0155 right? i was never sure what to check for, i have replaced the o2's but the code came back again. im goin to check for exhaust leaks and see if i find anything
