Default finally hooked a wideband O2 up on the dyno...

I wanted to see where my a/f ratio was at, so I went over to Speedworks in Lewisville for their dyno day. That will be the last time I go over there because they're a bunch of morons. The guy dynoing the car tells me that I have a 6,000 RPM stall torque converter because it flashed to 6k when he nailed it in 3rd gear at 5,500 RPM! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> I just laughed. The morons were also stumped as to how to lock up a converter with their "scantool". They've done it before, but apparently everyone forgot today. He tried, but it never did lock up. I just shook my head and was glad that I got a wideband O2 reading.

My a/f ratio was 12.5:1 throughout the entire run. With this ratio, my O2's read in the .920-.930 range. I seem to gain another .5 degrees of timing on the dyno vs. the track. It showed 26 degrees on the two runs that I ran ATap. After talking with a few other guys and seeing what's working best for them on a wideband with LS1 Edit, I think I'm going to keep the 12.5:1 a/f ratio. The car is definitely making nice power where it's at for stock heads! 361 RWHP unlocked and 380 RWHP locked

I'm not sure that is going to work exactly as planned, but I have set up a dyno test pcm for when I finally go (hail storm cancelled my last visit). The test PCM 2-3 & 3-2 shift points are set to keep the car in 3rd gear starting at 40 mph and lock the converter at 75 mph. Hopefully this will allow me to get a good A/F reading from about 4000 rpm on up.

Yeah, that would be nice to have the wideband reading lower down in the RPM range. With the ignorance of those yahoos, I just wanted my car to get unstrapped from the dyno in one piece. LOL!
