What should my IAC count be?
Is this right?
My counts were kind of high and the car seemed to run ok on colder days but then the other day it started to stall every light.I am not totally sure it was the new cam as I had a bad optima battery and before that some stalling problems but found a disconnected map sensor.I reconnected the map and got a brand new optima and drilled out the tb to 13/64 and turned the idle screw upside down so I can adjust it easier..so far no stalling but I think the iac counts will go to zero after you stop but they go back up when you start driving.I turned the idle up a bit but so far no ses lights. It even seems a bit easier to drive around in traffic with the higher idle and my cartech clutch.
Your IAC in gear with the car fully warmed up (oil & water up to temp) should be around 30 +/- 10. Over 50 and the idle can get rough. Under 10 and the PCM could loose the ability to fully control the idle and throw a code.
No higher than 120-140 in drive with a/c on.

<strong>To verify you need to put autotap on the car and monitor the IAC counts.
