I was able to do a little comparison between the two on my 2001 WS6. Both had stock tuning with the exception of raised limiter, idle, shift points and TM removed. The 2000 PCM was rescaled for 28lb 2001 injectors instead of the 2000 26lb injectors.
And the results are:
2001 PCM A/F 13.0 max timing 25 degress 362RWHP 373RWTQ.
2000 PCM A/F 13.0 max timing 28 degrees 377RWHP 366RWTQ.
Another interesting observation is that at around 5200rpm's I'm making 25RWHP more with the 2000 PCM, I guess it's the additional timing. I had a chance to run the 2000 PCM at the track and gained 2 tenths and my first 11 second time slip this weekend.
I would like to give special thanks to John at Speartech Fuel Injection www.speartech.com for making this test possible and for making all of the changes to both PCM's (great guy to work with).
