What pc speed is best for edit????
What pc speed is best for edit???? I know that the min. speed is 133, but what are all you edit users running right now 133,155,233 or faster. I'm looking at buying one right now (155) and want some advice. Would this be to close to the min. speed, would you suggest something else?

Re: What pc speed is best for edit???? It worked fine with a Pentium 150 machine with 80megs of ram. Once I loaded Autotap and Ease and excel, the computer ran slow, but the apps worked ok. I have since switched to a pentium II400 and things work faster. To answer your question, ls1-edit will work fine on a pentium 150.

Re: What pc speed is best for edit???? A p150 will work fine for LS1 Edit. It will also work fine for autotap assuming you use the DOS version.
Really though I would try and spring for something a little faster - like

You will have the ability to do a good bit more - you would actually be able to run excel decently on the laptop, and if you needed it for other things (travel, etc.) it would be a viable option.
