What are LTrims
And what do these have to do with MAFT, A/F ratios and tuning. Im installing headers this weekend and after dynoing, depending on A/F ratios, i may get a MAFT..
-Also do you guys think i dont need a dyno, just an A tap???
If your LTRIMs are out of whack (more than +/- 10%) you can use a MAFT to compensate for it, assuming the cause is do to mods and not a mechanical failure). A MAFT can also compensate if mods have made your car run too lean or too rich at WOT.
IMO, dynoing for the sake of dynoing provides only a little useful information. However, a Wideband dyno tells you if your A/F is good at WOT, which is not accurately measured by information collected by the car's sensors. If your A/F is bad, you can gain HP by fixing it with a MAFT or LS1Edit.
