Default am i doing this right? says i have 130% duty cycle on my injectors?

i need a math wiz, atap says 33.54ms at 4710rpm. searching thru past post i found this formula

60000/rpm*2=max pulse width

60000/4710*2=25.48

i have 33.54ms so do i take 33.54/25.48 to get duty cycle? = 132% yikes!!!!!

ok next question i have a 99 truck that came with a 5.3, can i use the same injectors as the cars? what did my truck come with? what should i throw in there? i could see geting to around 600fwhp some day, can i size for that hp even though i don't need that big yet?

I think the guys over in the tuning section could better help you.

your right.

your maxing out your injectors big time.

technically you can't go over 100% but anything over 90% is not good.

it's bigger injector time for you if you want to be safe.

for your horsepower goals 42# or bigger injectors would be the way to go if you only want to do it once.

What your PCM is calling for is more Injector Pulse width than is available. Meaning that it's trying to keep the injector open longer than is available in that RPM. This is dangerous in that you're locking your injector open for longer than it was intended. You could burn out the injector and then completely lean the motor and have huge problems.
