Re: "Service Vehicle" light? The owners manual says on page 2-88 These problems may not be obvious and may affect vehicles performance or durability. the best thing to do is get it checked out by an OBD-II diagnostic computer.Better to be safe than sorry. Hope you get it fixed.

I recently had a similar problem on my corvette. it turned out to be several different codes from different parts of the car, not engine related. the car was in the body shop and I think they got triggered somehow while it was getting repaired. hope this helps. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Of course it isn't low gas, that would be a "check gauges" light, and I am not that stupid <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> One of my friends works at a Pontiac dealership, so I will have him check it out. Has anyone else got a Service Vehicle light before?

Re: "Service Vehicle" light? The light can be 100 different things, but recently I've had my light come on due to the engine running too lean.
Have you ported your MAF or added an airlid/box?
