A blinking SES light shows you have a missfire. Maybe someone else can give you a clue as to what is going on.

You should fix all problems ASAP. I had misfires also. Didn't really bother to check up on it. Then my spark plug exited the block. It turned out that it was unscrewing itself a little by little and obviously it was too far to spart the mixture. It could be anything. Wire could be burned, spark plug could be bad, or coil could be bad. In any case I'd get it done so if you have another problem you'd notice the SES light. Now since it's on all the time you'll never know if another problem occurs.

Do the obvious. Inspect all plugs, wires and check to make sure they are all connected very well. Scan the ECM. Look for codes. Monitor for misfires and find out where they are occuring. If it's on a particular cylinder, components can be swapped around (plug, coil, wires) for troubleshooting..

Seeing as how your car is pretty much brand new.. Take it to the dealer As long as you have no obvious mods against the factory warranty they will fix it.. or die trying

Just say.. If GM didnt want me to take my car to 6k RPM, then why is the redline set at 6200? The car is designed to safely take 6 grand now and then.. I work at a Lexus dealer, and we get that sorta thing all the time.. Some old lady will come in and say that she gets a rumble at 90 on the freeway.. While we take it with a grain of salt, we still find and fix the problem.. Im sure GM will do the same, if they dont, contact GM direct and complain, the dealer wont like that
