I have the front knock sensor 0n a early 98 bad. I am fair sure its bad due to water. My question is, if you turn it off though edit will it give you back the hp its taking away thru timing? I hate the ses light being on and I will leave the back knock sensor on since I have had no trouble with it. So as long as I have one working properly I should be ok , or better than If I would have no knock sensor correct? Or would it be better to leave it alone and just turn the light off and allow the knock sensor to report the problem and keep letting it take timing out. This is just till I can find a ls6 intake so I can replace them with new knock sensors.Thanks Josh
