With 15% rich Base setting, city speeds yielded no knock yet ~+4.7 L-Terms with about 100 learning miles.

3 questions: First, would extreme humidity, such as that which I experience here in S. Fl., affect timing at all?

Second, do these settings sound right for my set-up or does something look off

Finally, would the fact that I altered the Base and WOT MAFT settings during the learning miles have screwed up my LTerms/O2's/A/F ratio??

I recently installed the ported ends and was WAAAAY lean (before the ends my A/F was perfect ). Before the WOT run, I gave it about 180 learning miles and Atapped the above WOT results.

Thanks guys!!

Thanks for all the great info in here! I have printed out much of this for future reference.

Wow that is interesting about the .935 and best dyno..wish I had a wideband dyno within 500 miles of me..basically I just look at part throttle ltrims on my scanmaster..dont' average any cells or any of that stuff and ignore idle and decel ltrims..then I lean it out till I get some knock retard and then back it up one notch..and I seem to be in roughly that .890 range although see it go a bit richer sometimes..depends on what gear and stuff.I think its best to check it in third at like up to 6000rpm...my scanmaster will record the leanest o2 in the run and highest knock retard.I found that if I set the translator richer than one past lean the car did feel like it had more around town torque but it ran slower for mph and it got super doggy on hot days..
So really there is a very limited range where I can set my maft..one notch too lean and knock retard although might get away with a bit leaner on real cold days.Couple notches richer and she gets doggy fast..have to maybe do a bit more tuning experiments with my tazzo vpc..it lets you do windowed tests between any two speeds for et and hp..so eliminates wheels spin and shift points which made the gtech go nuts and be super inconsistent.I have my ltrims slightly negative like -2 at part throttle..and then if the car makes best power maybe dialed up two more notches richer than why is it doggy and super slow on hot days..and I mean super doggy ..with it set leaner its much better even on hot days..??? I wish the darn factory had given us proper wideband o2s in our cars..but they are super pricey..wonder if its possible to tune from exhaust gas analysis...???
