LS1 Timing controller in final testing now! The LS1 Timing Tuner is complete and in the final test phase. Units should be available in the next couple weeks barring any unforseen problems with the last tests. So far it works great.
Current feature list.
Base timing control: Like turning a distributor advance or retard timing 7 degrees either way from stock or what ever is programmed into your computer.
WOT timing control: Adds or subtracts to base control + or - and additional 7 degrees. Over 3000 RPM
Supercharger timing curve that pulls different controllable amounts of timing every 1000 RPM
NOS system activation: Adjustable min RPM for NOS engage starting at 2000 and going up in 250 RPM jumps up to 5500.
MAX RPM for NOS either 5900 or 6300 ( for now)
NOS start timer: a 100, 200, 0r 300 Ms delay to activte NOS if no min RPM is desired.
NOS retard: adjustable timing retard when NOS is engaged.
LED trouble codes built in for testing and troubleshooting the Timing Tuner

We are excited and this was over 1 year of devolpment to make it work. Pictures and a copy of the manual will be up on the RAMNEWS section of our site next week.

Re: LS1 Timing controller in final testing now! It is a seperate product. I am not a sponsor here (we need to work on that) so I do not think that a price type response would be correct for me to do. There are some sponsors here that do carry our products like ARE, T-Byrne, Thunder, LS1 motorsports, and Fast toys just to name a few. Re: LS1 Timing controller in final testing now! It will be based on the translator box. We ran it over the weekend at the NMCA race at US131 in EFI on a NOS, LS1 Firebird. We were the number 1 qualifier

Re: LS1 Timing controller in final testing now! Mike, I have an off-topic question for you. Is it possible to tune a wot fuel curve that is too lean under 4000rpm and too rich above 4000rpm with a maft? The maft "looks" like it would only make a +- change across the board. Thanks.

Re: LS1 Timing controller in final testing now! Yes and no, the maf does not know anything about RPM just air flow. There is an adjustment for high airflow that will allow you to bend the curve so that it goes richer at lower flows and leaner at high flows. Since the air flow can be the same at different RPM's depending on load we could not say 4000 exactly but I bet it would fix your problem
