Default MAF-T "mode" switch questions

I'm confused about the mode switches 3 and 4.

This is what the instructions say:

Switch 3--ON=output signal limited (blocks DTC Code 102 on OBDII vehicles) Should also be set to ON for GN/retrofit vehicles that are NOT running extender chips.

Switch 4--"Late model" vehicles: ON=85mm MAF on cars that were originally equipped with 3.5".

I have no idea what to do about Switch 3. I left it off. I have an SLP 85mm MAF on my 98 LS1, should I set switch 4 to ON?

Default Re: MAF-T "mode" switch questions

Leave switch 3 off

Turn on switch 4 if you have idle problems and have a larger then stock MAF.
