Scanned the car tonite, and this is what it said...whats it mean?
I scanned the car tonite after I installed the FRTA, and this is some of the things that I noticed...
Im not to sure with the readings, as I am new to the results and was wondering if you can help me with the results please.
at 13mph, it seems that the ign timing advance is 18*,
yet at 70mph, it shows that the timing advance is almost 40.5* <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
It shows that the O2 sensors are going up with the speed as well as the timing, and they top out at .90 as the car is punched to the 70mph rate. It seems to drop back to about the .8'ish as soon as the car hits and maintains the 70mph rate.
Bank 2 is climbing to the .92, yet falls on its face at about 65mph, and drops to .77 at 70mph.
I thought that the car was to chage and maintain the 14.7 or so it is for perfect fuel to air raito?
Is / does this sound as if the car is running lean, and have anybody else had this problem with installing the FTRA on their car?
Do you think that a PCM clearing will help as well? Allow it to re-learn what the hell is going on with the car now, as to ensure that the car will not self detonate and go boom?

Thanx Trevor, I will have to check those out for ya...
I think that Im going to sell the Auto X-Ray that I have, it does a great job, yet is hard to navigate. |
The new ATAP looks like it's easier to nav, as well as other improvements as well.
