Has anyone used LS1 EDIT to get rid of the hot start surge in A4's? My IAC's are at 30 to 35 but it will surge then stall right after starting the car after its warmed up. It also stalls when making sharp turns. It's a TR224/112lsa cam. I love this cam but the surging/rolling and stalling is getting on my nerves. I have EDIT but i'm not sure what to try to get rid of the problem. I can use some help. I talked to John at Fastchips and he said Ed can tune it out. But i wanted to try using EDIT first.

You may be able to change the timing to help. Your IAC sounds good, but I would open the TB blade a 1/2 turn or so and see if that helps.

Stalls going around sharp turns...makes me wonder if you have a mechanical issue.

 

Mine will bog on sharp turns as well. I believe it is from the power oil steering pump loading up the engine. You won't notice it unless your idle sucks, and you are at very low RPM when you do it.
