Re: Wideband oxygen sensor location??? Up the tailpipe / cutout unless you installed extra O2 bungs on your headers. I installed the extra bungs on my Y-pipe and the shop I used to dyno only had a tailpipe wand. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Wideband oxygen sensor location??? I have ordered a wideband oxygen sensor and controller to test the A/F ratio on the car. Hopefully to tune it in with the MAFT and LS1edit.
I have a question though....
When the cars are brought in to the places that have a wideband sensor, and put on the Dyno for tuning, does anyone know where the wideband oxygen sensor is placed. Are they removing one or two of the oxygen sensors, either before or after the cats... or are they inserting the sensor into the tail pipe.

Re: Wideband oxygen sensor location??? Would removing one of the rear Oxygen sensors and using a simm allow you to put the wideband sensor into the rear oxygen sensor bung??? If it would, then I would get two simms and two wide band sensors so I could tune in each bank separately.

Just do like the cool people do (me included <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ), remove your cats permanatly and bam, you have two rear O2 bungs not being used. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: Wideband oxygen sensor location??? The Mustang dyno i used "In tune motorsports" in Cleveland tennessee removed one of my primary o2 sensors...the wideband o2 had a plug attached to it that passed thru the correct signal to the pcm. Pretty cool...
