Default ls1 edit and reverse lock out solenoid?

is there a way to control the reverse lockout solenoid using ls1 edit?? mine is stuck in the on position all the time ( even when the car is off) and not letting me get into reverse.

dirtyz, have you checked your DTC codes.
I was doing some work under my car and got the speed sensor unplugged accidentally. The PCM threw a P0500 DTC(VSS malfunction)and locked out reverse. I fixed the speed sensor and I was still locked out, so I cleared the codes with ATAP and all is well.

thats strange , i had the speed sensor disconected once and rverse never locked out . it woulg gothrough the gate at any speed. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

i checked the speed sensor and even tried to disconnect the lockout solenoid, but that didn't help. no codes either.

the weired thing is that the EASE scanner shoes the solenoid shifting from the on position to the off as soon as i move ( opposite of what it should) but even when moving the shifter can't go through the reverse gate.

it turnes out the solenoid was ok , it was the thingy connected to it that was jammed up.
took the bolt holding the solenoid on the tranny , unscrewed the solenoid from it's housing and greased it .
works geat now! ( no more parking on inclines, nomore thinking like a semi truck driver !)

It took about ten miles of driving before it locked out.
Anyway glad you got things figured out.
