Can the segment ID be changed?

Can the segment ID be changed? I am trying to compare 2 files with LS1 Edit, but I can tread the 2nd one because the segment 1 ID is different. Is there a way to change the segment 1 id so at least I can view it?

I don't know how to change segment IDs. Guess it could be done with a hex editor??
Here's how I get around the seg IDs:
Open Edit and copy files to a second opened LS1Edit.
Example - 2001 PCM and want to compare IFR table from 2002. Open both files, 2001 and 2002, in separate Edits and then copy 2002 IFR table and paste into the 2001 file.
