Load error w/ LS1 Edit v1.5
I got a new laptop a few months ago, and installed LS1 Edit v1.5 for tuning. My old laptop had it and ran just fine, and this one ran it fine until one day I got a Microsoft .NET error (running both v1.1 then v2.0). From this point on, the edit program won't load. I've re-installed several times, and even cleaned the registry of all instances of the program. Nothing works.
Can someone give me an idea of what to do next? Right now, Edit has been fine for tuning and moving to HP Tuners or similar is not a viable option.
Here's what I'm getting:
Any advice, assistance, or possibly someone letting me use their copy of v1.5 so I can overwrite my files? I have my copy available, but like stated, reinstalls aren't working.
Thanks!

Can you elaborate, I've never heard of this (even though my old laptop had SP2). I'd appreciate it

I'm wondering if there was a patch for v1.5 that maybe XP SP2 does something to it. A bug fix, if you will.

There is a known issue with Win XP SP2 and some AMD CPUs. That might be the error. I got an email from Ken Kelly a while ago about this problem.
I still have your copies of LS1 Edit but I think the only way to fix the problem is to get the "free" patch from Carputing. Your situation is different, as in 'your' Ver 1.5 LS1 Edit...

Are you using a USB serial adapter? Carputing recommends against using one. They recomend a PCMCIA Serial card adapter. If your using this I don't know then. I run it on a 366MHZ 128 ram machine with win XP no problem.
