Default EFI Live Bi-Directional Question

Can I control 2 things at once? For example, if I turn off an injector to do a balance test, I don't want the PCM compensating for idle speed so I would want to preset an IAC position to get an accurate reading.

Can this be done?

This quote from the EFILiveV5 documentation:
Although you may use EFILiveV5 to activate many controls, switches and modes simultaneously, it is recommended that you keep the number of overrides to a reasonable minimum. Usually no more than 5 overrides should be active at any one time.

There are two restrictions:
1. You may not turn off injectors while using the AFR override because the PCM cannot set the AFR correctly if an injector is switched off.
2. You may not set the idle speed and the IAC at the same time, as both of these settings try to control the IAC position.

Another question for ya! On the control panel when it says "Injector 1 -8", is "injector 1" cyl #1 or the 1st injector in the firing order - and so on with the other 7?

Injectors #1-8 corresponds to Cylinders #1-8 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
