Default Another ATap ?

How can you use the "pulse width" to show "% Duty" on the injectors? I believe the units are
"m/s".
Thanks.

I don't have autotap handy so can't tell you if it is a display option in there.

But for our purposes

injector duty cycle(%) = injector pulsewdith(msec)* rpm / 1,200

This gives you duty cycle in units of percentile. The 1,200 is just a constant that reflects the 4 stroke /v8 setup and percentile conversion.

This forum rocks!!!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> Thanks for the insight, Chris. What are the guidelines for injector duties? When should you upgrade?

If you are going to be running flat out for long periods of time at high rpm (roadracing, silverstate, cannonbal run type things, etc.) then I would go with the classic 80% rule (no more than 80% duty cycle). For drag racing, short bursts (less than 1 min, etc.) 90-93 percent is about the max I would go.
